Pause for Thought

1 Kings 8:27

Where does God dwell? indeed, can we find him in all things.  Solomon’s prayer can remind us that an unlimited God still limited himself in Jesus, all because of his love for us.  And after Pentecost, God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in his people, bringing us comfort, joy and peace.  The uncontainable God lives within us.  Does this make a difference to our lives?  Yes!  When we ask Jesus to live with us, he does.  He’ll never leaves us.  We can practise his presence at any moment of the day, calling to mind the mystery of his life within us.  We can find his strength when we are weak, his comfort when we are lonely; his joy when we are despondent.
