15th May 2021

Hi Everyone,

Only one week until we can meet again back in church. I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing some people I haven't seen in over a year - crazy times!

  • Praise that David and Jenny have exchanged contracts and move this coming Thursday and Friday.
  • Pat would like to praise God for Janet who had a lovely visit to Terry with Nicola. Please pray future visits may be equally pleasant.
  • Praise for Luoise's friend's Dad who no longer needs the operation to untwist his bowel - it did it all by itself!
  • Praise that Louise and Adam's favourite electrician came back to them with an affordable quote for their extension.
  • Praise that the tree Louise and Adam moved is alive and blossoming.
  • Praise Jhonnar is out of hospital now after his sickle-cell crisis last week. Pray he fully recovers soon.
  • Praise that from Monday we will have some more restrictions lifted and be able to visit more freely and be able to meet up as a church again.

  • Pray for David and Jenny as they pack up after 30 years in their current house. May it all go smoothly.
  • Please keep Howard in your prayers - this week hasn't been too good for him.
  • Please pray for Nicki who has a hospital procedure on 24th. Pray that she stays fit and well so it can happen.
  • Please pray for Pat's friend, Anita. She is waiting to hear if a bid she has put in for a flat with no stairs is successful or not.
  • Pat also asks that we keep praying for Paul - that his results show he is treatable.
  • Please pray for the Oakes who have camps almost every week now. Pray for the staff that they manage the switch back to camp mode quickly and easily especially with all the extra Covid considerations.
  • Prayer for the government as they tackle the new Indian variant of Covid-19 that is spreading through the UK.
  • Pray for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

God bless,

Johnny Gilchrist
