Hi Everyone,

Here are this week's prayers and praises. Please also find - at the bottom - the zoom link if you will be joining us for some family fun and games over zoom on Saturday 1st May.

Prayers

  • Michael is going into hospital at the end of May so please remember him in your prayers
  • Samantha Earnshaw - Michael's wife - is going into hospital to have her gallbladder removed on 5th may. Please remember her in your prayers.
  • Please remember Howard in your prayers. He says he is at about 90% mentally fit but only 5% physically fit. Please pray the Lord would restore his strength.
  • Please pray for Angela's work. She's been asked to take on more responsibility and could act as a "unifying peaceful light in the midst of work politics and infighting." She asks for God's wisdom.
  • Please also pray for Nathan's work. He is feeling slightly overwhelmed and needs to take on part time staff but isn't quite there yet.
  • Louise asks for prayers for her friend's husband who has shadows on his lungs. please pray it's nothing sinister as he has had cancer before.
  • Louise also asks for prayers for their build which is in limbo currently. The renderer didn't show up and the plumbers are not providing quotes or clarification. Pray for God's peace through it all.
  • Pat asks for prayers for her sister to have the peace that only Jesus can give. She is very angry and bitter and also has the beginnings of dementia.
  • Jenny asks for prayers for their house move. She is getting frustrated about the slow pace. She asks for prayers that she can trust and know God's peace through it all.
  • Carolyn would like prayer for her cellulitis around her left eye. Please pray the antibiotics start making a difference.
  • Please pray for Nicki who is still recovering from side effects of her Covid jab last Thursday.

Praises

  • Nathan praises God that both he and Angela are in secular work that they love.
  • Praise for the lovely sunshine we've been having recently.
  • Praise for the Oakes' first proper camp on Saturday. Please pray it goes smoothly.
  • Praise that Weina's burn wound has fully healed and she doesn't need to see the specialist again.
  • Louise praises God for the comfort that he provides and for the knowledge that he will provide whatever we need.
  • Pat praises God for the safe delivery of another great grandson - yet unnamed.
  • Praise for our birthdays this coming week: Mark on 26th April and Andy on 29th.
