8th May 2021

Hi Everyone,

A bit of an indoor day today after the sunshine. Here are this week's prayer requests and praises.

  • Please remember Jhonnar in your prayers. He went into hospital suddenly on Thursday with a sickle cell crisis. He has been given morphine which indicates the kind of pain he is in. Please pray for a quick recovery.
  • Please pray for Samantha Earnshaw who had her gall bladder removed on Wednesday. She is home again now and recovering. Please pray for a full recovery too. Pray for Michael too as he looks after her.
  • Please keep Howard in your prayers. He is still finding many days difficult but praise for the better days in between.
  • Please pray for Louise's friends' Dad, Stayrt Darlison. He is in A and E with a blocked colon and is due to have an operation today. Please pray for a safe operation, healing and comfort for his family who are worried about him.
  • Pat asks for prayers for Charlotte who is 20 years old. She is Pat's niece's daughter. She has taken an overdose twice. Despite getting counselling from university she has cut herself off from all her family members.
  • Pat also asks that we continue to pray for Paul who gets the results of his test on 19th May.
  • Please pray for the government as they get ready to release the details of the next stage of the roadmap on 17th May.

  • Praise from Pat for Anita who had her stitches out and the wound has healed nicely.
  • Praise for a great get together over zoom last Saturday for the fun and games night. It was great to see everyone who joined.
  • Praise for the Oakes being able to release bookings for summer camps and for them fully booking out in less than a day.

God bless,

Johnny Gilchrist
