Why Can’t I See God?: Eve’s Question (Animals of Eden Valley)

Praise God for the Grant that has been provided for us by the Yorkshire Baptist Association towards a Minister.

Ping Li Wu has been granted a Visa to remain permanently in the UK, no more applying for Visa’s.

Jhonnar is now back at The Oakes with a Visa for 2 years - it was good to see him last Sunday.

Items for Prayer

For our Christmas Services, may we see encouragement in the people attending but also not forget the true meaning of Christmas - GOD WITH US.

For the meeting on the 8th December, may we all be of one mind and know the Lord leading and guiding us.

For the Leadership Team as they work together.  Please pray for Jackie, Martin and David starting a new 3 year term of office and Johnny as he starts his 2nd.

For Tricia, Howard and Michael, may they know the Lord’s healing touch upon them.

For Frank that his leg may continue to heal but that he may not over do it.

For Sina that all may go well for her Wedding.  Ayan please give her our love.

For Pat facing Cataracts operations in the next two months.

For Johnny’s Mum who is not eating at the moment may people find ways to encourage her.

For the Homeless and Rootless at Christmas that shelter and food will be available for them.  For our offerings that go towards this work.

For Peter who has just had a Thyroid operation.

Pause for Thought

If you make anyone a drink today, the chances are you’ll use water.  Before you hand it over, stop for a moment and pray.  Invite God’s presence to invade their lives as they drink.  It might even turn water into wine.

From Day by Day with God - Lyndall Bywater

May we wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas.
